PEEK board, also known as polyether ether ketone board in Chinese, is a new type of engineering plastic board extruded from PEEK raw materials. PEEK board has good toughness and rigidity, and it has excellent fatigue resistance, maintaining good toughness and material stability at high temperatures. With these excellent comprehensive performance, the components processed by PEEK board are widely used in automotive connectors, heat exchange parts, valve bushings, deep-sea oil field parts, and in fields such as machinery, petroleum, chemical, nuclear power, rail transit, electronics, and medicine.

Main characteristics of PEEK board

High temperature resistant polyether ether ketone PEEK has a high glass transition temperature (Tg=143 ℃) and melting point (Tm=334 ℃), with a load thermal deformation temperature of up to 316 ℃, a long-term use temperature of 260 ℃, and an instantaneous use temperature of up to 300 ℃.

The mechanical properties of polyether ether ketone PEEK are rigid and flexible, especially in terms of fatigue resistance under alternating stress, which is comparable to alloy materials.

Self lubricating polyether ether ketone PEEK has excellent sliding characteristics and is suitable for applications with strict requirements for low friction coefficient and wear resistance. Especially, PEEK with sliding grades modified with carbon fiber, graphite, and PTFE has excellent wear resistance.

Corrosion resistance: Except for concentrated sulfuric acid, PEEK is insoluble in any solvent and strong acids and alkalis, and is resistant to hydrolysis, with high chemical stability.

Flame retardant polyether ether ketone PEEK has self-extinguishing properties, and can reach UL standard 94V-0 level even without any flame retardant added.

Due to its high temperature fluidity and high thermal decomposition temperature, PEEK can be processed using various methods such as injection molding, extrusion molding, compression molding, and melt spinning.
